Five young contestants will be “Puttin’ On The Ritz” as they compete for the title of Little Miss Caribou 2008. The pageant will be held Saturday, April 5, at 7 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.

Little Miss Caribou 2007, Ashley Matlock, the daughter of Ron and Sharon Matlock, along with the five contestants will begin the evening’s event with an opening number, “Puttin’ on the Ritz”.
Jaelynn Doody, the 8-year-old daughter of Matt and Holli Doody, will perform a baton routine to “Shining Star” during the talent segment of the program.
Eight-year-old Hanah White, has selected a vocal presentation entitled, “I Can Only Imagine”. White is the daughter of David and Mary White.
Kyleigh DeMerchant, 8-year-old daughter of Kent and Lori DeMerchant, will be singing, “On The Good Ship Lollipop” as her talent selection.
Danielle Hanson will perform a jazz dance routine to the Broadway show tune “New York, New York,” Hanson is the 8-year-old daughter of Ralph and Michelle Hanson.
Kirsten Haney, the 8-years-old daughter of Sharon Anderson and Troy Haney will be doing a dance routine to,”1,2,3,4”.
Special entertainment scheduled during the evening will be provided by Little Miss Caribou 2007, Ashley Matlock and 2008 Miss Caribou, Molly Bouchard.
The 2008 Little Miss Caribou Pageant is sponsored by the Lister Knowlton VFW Auxiliary and is under the direction of Cheryl Bossie.
Sandi Bouchard will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening. Abby and Paige Small choreographed the opening number for the pageant.
Tickets are $6 each and may be purchased in advance from the contestants. Proceeds are to benefit the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Aid and Research Program.
