BATH – Caribou track and field athletes put in top-class performances at the State Class B Championship at Morse High School on Saturday. Viking Hannah Saunders crossed the finish line of the 1,600 race walk in 8:03.58 for the state title. Top-three standings on the boys’ side were Nate Swan with a second-place 160-06 throw in the javelin and Spencer McElwain with a third-place 10:08.75 finish in the 3,200-meter. The boys’ team placed eighth out of 25 teams.
