Deveau, John K. Sr., 44, Caribou and Presque Isle; in Oklahoma, December 10, 2008. A service will be held the beginning of January 2009.
Caribou & Presque Isle – John K. Deveau Sr., 44, born and raised in Caribou and Presque Isle and was a resident for the last five years of Oklahoma. He left us on 12/10/2008.
John was a loving ,caring, dedicated, hardworking man (Jack of all trades) who was very important and needed by all those who loved him. John touched the lives of more people than he ever realized.
John is survived by his parents, Keith K. & Leona (Cook) Deveau; three children: sons, John Jr., Michael A. and daughter Desireé Ann; one grandson, Alex Deveau; his girlfriend, Janet Mcness of Noble, Okla.; five siblings: sister, Sophie Wortman and partner Don Brother, Keith E. and wife Cheryl Deveau; sister Donna and husband Larry Easler; sister, Brenda and husband William (Bud) Rand; sister, Beth and husband Thomas Parker. John also left behind numerous nieces and nephews all whom loved him more than he ever knew and will miss him each and every passing day. He was also survived by Elmo, his Boston bulldog who was John’s constant loving companion and baby.
Final arrangements were made in Oklahoma but John will soon be returning home, a place he never wanted to leave and wanted to come back to more than anything. John’s family members will be bringing him back home and a service will be held the beginning of January 2009 so everyone that loved John can say their goodbyes. It will be in the newspapers as soon as we have a location, date and time.
