Brown wins CMS Geography Bee

    The staff at Caribou Middle School recently held the school’s annual National Geographic Bee for students in grades 6 — 8, with representatives from each grade selected to participate in the event. Students who placed first in their respective classroom preliminary competitions earned the right to  take part in the final competition.

    Congratulations went to the school’s first place winner, seventh-grader Andrew Brown; Larry Spencer, grade six, placed second, with eighth-grade student Alex Hodsdon winning the third place slot.
     Other student participants in the final round of competition included Brian Corbin, Alex Murchison, Dan La Casse, Breen Blackstone, Chelsea martin, Ginger Kieffer and Elizabeth Dionne.
    Alternate classroom winners who placed in the preliminary classroom competitions included Morgan Outing, Derrick Richardson, David Kennedy, Connor Thibeault, Emilee Sirois, Sameer Panesar, Nolan McDuffie, Graham Freme, Cameron Hill and Devin Ballard.
