    Summaries of recent games follow:
Police 24, Woodland Tigers 6
    On June 11, the Police’s Reece McDougal had two doubles and a single and Tyler Dombroski had two singles and a double as they rolled past the winless Tigers.
    Bailey Griffeth and Dawson Hebert both had two singles for the winners. Molly Cummings and Brandon Manter each doubled for the Tigers.
Savings Bank of Maine 15, North Stars 2
    Jacob Burby blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the third inning to power Savings Bank of Maine to the win on June 10.
    Tyler Raymond doubled and scored twice and Caleb Willett, Brayden Burby and Kyle Tibbetts also had big offensive games for the winners.
    Devon Chamberland and Shane Furber both had RBIs for the North Stars.
K of C 6, Police 1
    The Knights received an outstanding pitching performance from Brian Corbin June 9 to down the Police.
    Corbin struck out 15 while going the distance on the mound. He walked three and allowed just one hit – a Dylan Lamothe single.
    Corbin also came a few inches from blasting a home run in the fifth inning, settling for a double. Connor Shaw, Jillian Flynn, Ricky Sheldon, Gabe Rand, Devin Martin and Kyle Soetaert-Beaulier all hit safely for the K of C squad.
VFW 10, Woodland Eagles 9
    In a June 9 extra-inning game that saw five lead changes, VFW’s Zach Whitten scored the tying run in the bottom of the sixth and supplied the game-winning hit with two outs in the seventh as his team prevented the Eagles from getting their first win of the season.
    Dave Smith had two hits for the VFW team and Evan Desmond collected the pitching win.
    The Eagles played great defense throughout and Hunter Milliard went 3 for 3 and fell a homer short of the cycle.
K of C 11, Shop ‘n Save 2
    The Knights unleashed a 12-hit attack on June 8, with Kyle McCullough’s two-run single keying the eight-run rally in the sixth that blew the game open. Beaulier had three singles and Ricky Sheldon added two singles for K of C. Bradley Doody and Connor Plourde each had doubles.
    Ricky Sheldon and Connor Plourde combined on the seven-hitter on the mound for the victors.
    Axios Gerakaris and Colton Conley combined for five of Shop ‘n Save’s seven hits.
Sleepers 4, S. W. Collins 2
    In a June 8 contest, Sleepers’ Justin Ouellette held Collins without a hit, striking out 17 batters along the way as his team stayed unbeaten.
    Mason Huck went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and Riley McDuffie had two hits and scored twice and Mike Hunter and Emma Belyea each reached and scored for Sleepers.
    Nick Allen made a great catch in left field to help keep his Collins team close, while teammates Gabe Massey also made some nice plays in the field.
Sleepers 11, VFW 3
    Huck homered and had two others hits, while Hunter and Alec Cyr both went 3 for 4 as Sleepers rolled in a June 5 contest.
    The game was close until Sleepers put together a five-run rally in the fourth inning.
    David Smith pitched well in the loss, while VFW teammates Zach Whitten and Matt Nadeau played good defense throughout. Smith had two hits and Nolan Powers doubled for VFW.
Police 24, Shop ‘n Save 5
    Reece McDougall and Dylan Paddleford combined to strike out eight batters in Police’s victory on June 3.
    Dylan Lamothe had a triple, a double and a single and Reece McDougal had two singles and a double to pace Police at the plate.
    Ben Ezzy doubled and singled twice and Ashton Beaver collected a pair of hits for Shop ‘n Save.
VFW 9, Woodland Eagles 6
    Brandon Tweed, Nolan Powers and Matt Nadeau combined for eight of their team’s 12 hits as VFW won the May 19 game against the Eagles. Tweed (10 strikeouts) also picked up the pitching win in relief of starter Powers.
    Hunter Milliard had a two-run inside-the-park homer for the Woodland squad.
VFW 15, Shop ‘n Save 12

    On May 13, VFW scored early and often in a high-scoring win over Shop ‘n Save.
    VFW managed just four hits, but used patience at the plate to forge out to a 9-0 lead. Austin Brown turned an unassisted double play in the fourth inning for the winners.
    Ben Ezzy, Ashton Beaver and Colton Conley all had two hits for Shop ‘n Save, which had 13 hits in the game.
