Class of 2010 appreciates support

To the editor:

Project Graduation is one of those traditions that make this community special. On behalf of Caribou High School’s Class of 2010, I would like to express gratitude and appreciation for all who donated to our class. Project Graduation funding comes from outside the school system, primarily from business and parent donations, fund-raisers and ticket sales. Despite a tough economic climate, once again, this tradition continued.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the donations made to this wonderful event. The inception of Project Graduation was to keep students safe with an alcohol and drug-free celebration for the new graduates. This year’s class voted to travel to Six Flags in Massachusetts and without the support of the hard-working parents who partnered up with businesses to raise fund, our class trip would not have been possible. We recognize that the success of our trip is due to the extended support we received and appreciate it very much.

Thank you to all who gave us the opportunity to come together as a class, one more time, and make memories that we will cherish.
