The commissioners opted to transfer $100,000 from both Title 1 and disaster relief to the infrastructure project fund and $100,000 from broadband to public health.
Vicki Page’s contract was terminated during an executive session held by the town’s Select Board, according to board chairman Matt Cole.
Last year, the campsites only generated $12,000, and cost the town $26,000 to operate.
Chairperson Matt Cole said that he called the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office in December after fellow board member Tom Drew allegedly harassed him, board member Kathy Ouellette and Town Clerk Bridget Coats at the town office.
The hangar is at the center of a conflict between the museum, which wants to preserve the huge structure, and developers who see it as a potential business asset.
