FORT KENT, Maine — The Fort Kent Knights of Columbus have announced the winner of their ongoing lotto fundraiser for the previous week. The Super 50 Lotto winner for the week of Jan. 23-29, 2023, was Linda Coltart of Madawaska, who won the sum of $378.

Author Pelletier delivers reading at UMPI Feb. 2

The University of Maine at Presque Isle will present a special evening with award-winning author Cathie Pelletier on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. in UMPI’s Campus Center, when it hosts a reading and book signing focused on her latest book, “Northeaster: A Story of Courage and Survival in the Blizzard of 1952.”

Presque Isle cartoonist kicks off February exhibit at Aroostook Agency on Aging

Local cartoonist Brent Dyer will bring a collection of his works to the Aroostook Agency on Aging in February for a month-long exhibit. He will be in attendance and available to discuss his influences and methods during the Feb. 3 First Friday Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. in the Artists for Aging  gallery.
