For Fort Kent, it is by far the year’s largest annual event, requiring hundreds of volunteers and more than 90 sponsors to help organize and fund it.

The girls Class B championship will be held at 1 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, followed by the boys game at 2:45 p.m.
It’s the first time in more than 30 years that an Aroostook County principal has earned the honor.
