Have you ever had a dog that licks a lot, himself another dog or you, I have a couple in my house like that. My larger dog, she is a husky mix licks her front legs all the time, my little smaller dog likes whatever he can, if he is near me he will lick and lick, especially if you just applied some kind of lotion.

A while ago The Ark took in a male cat named Maxwell. Maxwell is a big beautiful pure white cat with blues eyes. Unfortunately Maxwell is deaf. Being deaf does not bother Maxwell he was born that way and doesn’t know he is different.
Once again, the two-legged and “four-legged” friends of the Central Aroostook Humane Society came out to support one of our biggest fundraisers of the year.
As a pet owner, we all want to enjoy our four-legged family members, keeping them as healthy and as happy (and as spoiled) as possible.
Halfway Home Pet Rescue presents Ramsey as the Pet of the Week. Ramsey is about 2 or 3 years old, a very big boy with a sunny disposition.
The past few weeks have been very busy at The Ark and we are happy to announce that the outdoor cat pens are now open. Our kitties are loving the fresh air and sunshine and can hardly wait to get let out in the mornings.
