McEntee, Clarice Rita, 83, died March 4, 2007 at Kingswood Nursing Home, Aberdeen. Arrangements are in the care of Powell Funeral Home.     Southern Pines, NC – Clarice Rita McEntee, 83, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at Kingswood Nursing Home in Aberdeen.
    A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. A graveside service will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle, Maine.
    Born April 12, 1923 in Mars Hill, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Wellington and Mary Charlotte Ireland Jameson and wife of the late Claude H. McEntee was preceded in death by her son, Paul D. McEntee. Mrs. McEntee was retired from Potato Service, Inc., a member of the First Baptist Church of Southern Pines, Bethany Baptist Church in Presque Isle, Maine and the Pythian Sisters.
    She is survived by her daughter, Penny Higgins and husband Woody of Southern Pines, one son, Gary McEntee and wife Donna of Fredericksburg, VA, a daughter-in-law, Mary McEntee of Palmetto, FL, six grandchildren, Stephen, Cynthia, Daniel, Scott, Greg and Alicia,  five great-grandchildren, Danielle, Jack, Courtney, Brenna and Meghan.
    Powell Funeral Home of Southern Pines is helping with the arrangements.
