USM dean’s list
The following full-time students have been named to the University of Southern Maine dean’s list for the 2006 fall semester: Shaun M. Cote, Fort Fairfield; Kimberly M. Lopez, Mapleton; and Tonya J. Collins, Jessica B. Price and Dustin R. Ward, Presque Isle.
To be named, students must earn a grade point average of 3.2 or above, and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours. USM serves some 10,500 students with campuses in Portland, Gorham and Lewiston-Auburn.
Smith returns from Italy
Dori M. Smith of Presque Isle, Maine, a junior at Colby College in Waterville, has recently returned from spending the fall semester of the 2006-07 academic year in Italy studying through the IES-Milan program. Smith, a graduate of Presque Isle High School, is the daughter of Charles and Marguerite Smith of Presque Isle. She is majoring in music at Colby.
