PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – A fund-raiser is planned for March 23 at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club, with the proceeds benefiting a local scholarship fund.
From 5 to 7 p.m., a Stew and Pie Night is planned at the clubhouse, located off ITS 83 just off State Park Road in Presque Isle. The cost for the meal will be $5 for a bowl of beef stew or corn chowder, roll, coffee/tea and a slice of pie. Hotdogs will be sold for $1, grilled cheese for $1 and a slice of pie will go for $1.50.
Whether by car or snowmobile, all interested individuals are welcome to attend.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Robert J. Poiesz Memorial Scholarship of the American Society of Military Comptrollers. For more information, contact Milie Keegan at 328-1684.
