PRESQUE ISLE – Lottie J. Sutter, 80, passed away early Sunday morning, March 25, 2007 at her home. She was born in Fort Fairfield on July 22, 1926, the daughter of Thomas and Grace (Armour) Leith.
Lottie was raised on a farm in Fort Fairfield where she had pet ducks and a rooster. She loved watching birds of all kinds. She married Roger L. Sutter on December 24, 1946. Lottie worked as a secretary for SAD#1 for 26 years.
She will be greatly missed by her son Stephen R. Sutter of Presque Isle, two daughters, Constance J. Michaud, and her husband Gerald, Kim A. Lamoreau and her husband David, all of Caribou, her grandchildren; Mrs. Dianna Boyd of Lorton, VA, Mrs. Sara Wright of Edgewater, FL, Mrs. Patricia Simpson of Howland, Lance Michaud of Caribou, Roxanna Michaud of Mars Hill, Aaron Lamoreau of Farmington, and Bryan Lamoreau of Winston-Salem, NC and several great-grandchildren, her two sisters, Jan Lloyd of PA and Edna Lafferty of Hawthorne, CA. She predeceased by her husband Roger L. Sutter, three brothers, Wendell, Donald, and Charles, and a sister Hazel Nichols.
