To the editor:
We recently had the privilege of chaperoning 20 of the Washburn District High School graduating Class of 2007 on their Project Grad trip to Boston. What a wonderful, respectful and fun group of young adults they were.
To all the businesses in our community that gave donations and to all community members who attended whatever project graduation event they had to raise money for this trip, these young adults represented Aroostook County with the most utmost respect that you would have been so proud of. To the parents of these young adults, you should be so very, very, proud of the wonderful person your child has grown to be.
We will never forget this trip and hope the very best to the Class of 2007 in their future.
