To the editor:
I would like to thank Rep. Jeremy Fischer and other members of our Aroostook delegation for their work in securing funding for Women, Work and Community in the recent budget.
As a result of their effort and willingness to listen, women and families will continue to receive free training in building careers, becoming financially secure and becoming leaders in their communities. With a moderate amount of additional resources, we will also now be able to resume small business training (microenterprise services) in Aroostook County. Again, our thanks.
