Riding club holds show next set for Blossom weekend

The Pine and Spurs Riding Club of Fort Fairfield held the first of its three horse shows on June 17 with Jeremy Hoyt, as judge.
Class winners are as follows:
    Class 1, Halter Mares: first, Eternity’s Reality, Shelly Escancy; second, Well Versed Imprint, Sabrina Hardwick; third, Tuff Stop-N-Us Now, Bev McNeal; fourth, Sierra’s Mighty Fine, Jenna Carr; fifth, Midnight Rose, Jamie Hendrickson and sixth, Katahdin’s Dream, Lori Berube.
Class 2, Halter Geldings: first, Seas Olympic Gold, Kim Cheney; second, Docs Missin’ Evidence, Jamie Lawrence; third, Bonanza Joe, Martin Doustou; fourth, Aviator, Jenna Carr; fifth, Zipped in Stone, Sabrina Hardwick and sixth, Cashmanian Devil, Lauren DeMerchant.
Reserve Champion Halter was Seas Olympic Gold, ridden by Kim Cheney, while Grand Halter was won by Eternity is Reality, ridden by Shelly Escancy.
Class 3, Youth Showmanship: first, Nicole Michaud, Misty’s Pocahontas; second, Martin Doustou, Bonanza Joe; third, Alyssa Kilcollins, Clipper; fourth, Lauren DeMerchant, Cashmanian Devil and fifth, Kori Kinney, Buff Cap Sierra.
Class 4, Adult Showmanship: first, Sabrina Hardwick and Zipped in Stone; second, Kim Cheney and Seas Olympic Gold and third, Karole Benoit and Lassos Levi.
Class 5, Leadline Equitation: first, Searra Herbert and Tuff Stop-N-Us Now; second, Anna Robinson and Koty and third, Matthew Geary and CR Skip-N-Time.

The remainder of classes was cancelled due to thunderstorm activity.
