Keith and Sue Brown, of Washburn, and Paul & Becky Diette, of Newport, Vt., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Sarah Brown and Sean Diette, both of Portland. The bride-to-be is a 2001graduate of Washburn District High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in music. She is currently employed by TD Banknorth.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of North Country Union High School in Newport, Vt., and a 2004 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in music performance and education. He is currently employed by Gnome Landscape and Masonry.
A September 1, 2007 wedding is planned.
