Cote, Irene S., 83, of Lincoln, died July 31, 2007. Arrangements are in the care of Bibber Memorial Chapel.
LINCOLN – Irene S. Cote 6/21/1924 – 7/31/2007. Our loving mother has joined the family that has passed on before her….husband Sylvio Cote, daughter Joyce Lessard, and grandson Kenny Lessard.
Irene, daughter of Mandy and Eddie Burby of Ashland, ME passed on with her children close at her side at a Lincoln, ME hospital after a short illness.
Irene lived her life to the fullest for her children and family.
Irene leaves behind her daughter Darlene Stormann and husband Brian of Lincoln, ME, a son Darrell Cote of Brownville, ME, and youngest son Michael Cote and his wife Doreen of Wells, ME, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mom will be very sadly missed by her children, family, and friends.
Visiting hours were held from 6-8 PM on Friday, August 3, 2007 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells, ME. A funeral mass was celebrated on Saturday, August 4 at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church on Eldridge Road in Wells. Interment was held on Monday, August 6 at East Cemetery in Manchester, CT at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Autism Speaks, 2 Park Avenue, 11th Floor New York, NY 10016 in honor of Irene’s great grandson, Sam Sheidy.
