Berchie I. Cousins

Cousins, Berchie I., 76, of Blaine, died July 14, 2007.     STUART, FL. and BLAINE – Berchie I. Cousins, 76, passed away July 14, 2007 at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, FL. He was born in Blaine, ME., the son of Perley and Rosie (Craig) Cousins. Before his retirement, he was a truck driver with Coles Express Trucking, in Presque Isle, ME., for 30 years. He was a member of the Kindgom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Stuart where he and his late wife, Burlyne (Boyd) Cousins, lived for the past 20 years.
    Berchie was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Burlyne (Boyd) Cousins, in February 2007; his only child, a son, Berchie Floyd Cousins in January 2006 and a brother Richard Cousins. He is survived by a granddaughter, Erin Smith and her husband, Phillip, of FL.; one brother Austin Cousins of Kittanning, PA.; and sisters, Corlene Currier of Pittsfield, ME. and Rachel Ryder or Carmel, ME.
    He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law; Orla Carney of Mildale, CT.; Roberta and James Taylor of Westfield, ME.; Rosella Large of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.; and Uva and Patrick Hardgrove, Sr. of Westfield, ME.; several nieces and nephews including a very special niece Phyllis Womble of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
    A memorial service was held July 28th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Stuart.
