152nd to hold deactivation ceremony

A deactivation ceremony will be held on Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. at Teague Park in Caribou. The ceremony will be held for 1st Battalion, 152nd Field Artillery Maine Army National Guard. Members of the public, particularly former members of the battalion are invited to attend. Former members are encouraged to participate by standing in formation with their old battery wearing their BDU’s or fatigues. Immediately following the ceremony there will be a gathering held at the Caribou American Legion hall on Sweden Street. In the event of rain the ceremony will be held at Caribou High School, rather than Teague Park at the same date and time.
