PRESQUE ISLE – MMG Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Maine Mutual Group, a regional, property and casualty insurance company headquartered in Presque Isle, is pleased to announce the promotion of Terri Hallowell to assistant accounting manager.
Hallowell began her career with Maine Mutual as an assistant accountant in 1998. In 2001, she was promoted to the position of accountant, then in 2006, she was promoted to the position of senior accountant.
Hallowell earned her master of science in business degree through Husson College in May of this year. She also earned her bachelor of arts in accounting and bachelor of arts in business management degrees from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. In addition to these degrees, she has her Certificate in General Insurance, Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designations through the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter Professionals (AICPCU).
Hallowell also has the distinction of being named Virginia Allan Young Careerist in 2006 by the Caribou Business & Professional Women. She went on to compete at the regional and state level, capturing those titles, as well.
