PRESQUE ISLE – Northern Maine Community College will be the host site for a QuickBooks seminar on Friday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. This seminar is being offered by Lee Theriault, CPA of Fort Kent and Advantage Payroll Services. This seminar will be an ideal training tool for employers or organizations that currently use QuickBooks software and need to train new employees to learn how to use QuickBooks to its fullest potential. If you are considering the purchase of QuickBooks software, this workshop will help you make an informed decision.
Participants will learn how to work with bank accounts, enter sales information, receive payments, make deposits, analyze financial data, work with inventory, and much more.
“Not only will new users gain an overview of how the program works, giving them a valuable resource to use QuickBooks to its full potential, but experienced users will learn new tricks and tips,” said Theriault, who will be teaching the course.
Theriault is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® who has both provided QuickBooks assistance to his clients since 2000, as well as taught the subject for SAD 27.
“We find that many of our clients use QuickBooks. As an added convenience, Advantage is able to provide the payroll entries that will automatically post to their QuickBooks,” said Sherry Miller-Thibodeau, director of development for Advantage Payroll Services in Presque Isle.
The cost of the daylong course is $50, which includes both lunch and hand-out materials. For more information or to register, please contact Theriault by phone at 834-5448 or by e-mail at theriaultcpa@fairpoint.net.
