PRESQUE ISLE — CitiFinancial’s Presque Isle office is sponsoring a food drive Thursday, Nov. 1 through Saturday, Nov. 17, to benefit GIFT (Grace Interfaith Food Table). The public is invited to bring non-perishable food items such as canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, canned soup, pasta and evaporated milk to the Presque Isle office. CitiFinancial is located at 733 Main St. in the new strip mall. The office is open 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Monday; 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday. The food drive will end on Citigroup’s Global Community Day, Nov. 17. On this day, employees of every CitiFinancial branch in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico will pack the donated food they have collected and deliver it to their local food bank or food kitchen. CitiFinancial employees will also be donating their time that day to help those in need through many local organizations.
In addition, members of the community who stop by to make a food donation on Nov. 17 will be able to participate in the branch’s Customer Appreciation Days.
