CARIBOU – Robin Lyn Adams, 44, died October 28, 2007 at her Caribou residence following a long illness. She was born at Presque Isle, July 16, 1963, the daughter of Robert and Dona (Fogg) Simmons Sr. Robin graduated from the Presque Isle High School, Class of 1982 and Husson College in 1996.
She was employed at Loring Air Force Base for many years and was recently employed at DFAS. She was a member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was also a Sunday school teacher. Robin was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her children who she loved so much. She married Darrell Adams Jr. on December 31, 1998.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Caribou are five sons Seth of Bangor, Nathaniel, Darrell III, twins Christopher and Taylor all of Caribou; two step-daughters Carli Cleaves of Presque Isle and Sarah Adams of Mapleton; one brother Robert Simmons Jr. of Presque Isle; three sisters Linda Brewer of Presque Isle, Sonya Craig of Mars Hill and Angel Frank of St. Agatha; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ellen Cleaves, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Robin may do so to the Gray Memorial United Methodist Women’s Group.
