ACEA annual meeting November 14

    All Aroostook County residents are invited to an informative evening at the Aroostook County Extension Association annual meeting. The meeting will be held on Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, at the Grant Memorial United Methodist Church in Presque Isle. The business meeting will be preceded by a social time at 5:30 p.m. and dinner served at 6 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $5 per person and reservations are required. The program for the evening will include highlights of county programming over the last year. Casey Bowie, extension agriculture coordinator, will discuss the Master Gardener Program along with Laura Audibert and Joan Lee, master gardener alumni. John Reber, UMCE director, will give an overview of the extension.
    The Extension Association Annual Report will be presented and a new slate of directiors will be elected. Award presentations will be made for the Robert E. Evans Citizenship Award, the Friends of Extension Award and the Extension Service Award. Membership in the Aroostook County Extension Association is open to all citizens of Aroostook County and all county residents may vote at the annual meeting.
