Ag Museum to feature roast pork supper Nov 10

    The Ag museum in Littleton will be hosting a delicious roast pork supper this Saturday, Nov. 10. Supper will begin at 4:30 p.m. for the early arrivals and will continue until 6 p.m. The supper is $8 per person, which includes your meal, beverages and a wide variety of desserts. The museum will be open from 3 p.m. through the supper for tours. Proceeds for this supper will be used for museum projects and winter fuel expenses. The museum is handicap accessible, and wheelchairs are available. An upcoming event at the museum will be “The Made in Maine” craft fair on Nov. 17. Several crafters from various parts of the county will be on hand with many gift ideas. Fresh wreaths will also be available. The museum ladies will be offering a light lunch for shoppers as well, and the museum will be open for tours. The museum is located in Littleton, on US Highway 1 next to Porter’s Gas Station. The most current newsletter will be available at the supper or if you would like to receive one on a regular basis, become a member of the museum.  Memberships are $20 for a single, $30 for a family, $50 for a sodbuster, $100 for a thresher and $250 for Farmer of the Year. Lifetime memberships are also available. $500 for a single or $750 for a couple. All memberships include a free dinner at the Membership Dinner in January, a quarterly newsletter and free admittance to the museum. Memberships, supper gift certificates and museum note cards can also be purchased for gift giving at our suppers and at the craft fair.
