The Insurance Association of Greater Houlton, an affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Women International, recently wrapped up their recent fundraiser for the March of Dimes
Employees paid to wear blue jeans to work each Friday during the month of October, raising a total of $1,274.06.  This was the largest donation received by the March of Dimes in the state.
This was made possible due to the participation of and generous donations from the seven locations of F.A. Peabody Company (Houlton, Mars Hill, Presque Isle, Caribou, Sherman, Lincoln, and Hampden), Town of Houlton, Varney Agency, Randy Lincoln Agency, North Country Auto, Sargent and Tweedie Trucking in Mars Hill, Madigan Estates and Houlton Water Company.
The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality through research, community services and education.
