MWSC ski clinic

    Presque Isle – Maine Winter Sports Center announces a Ski Leader and Coach Education Clinic on Saturday, Dec, 22 at the Nordic Heritage Center. The clinic will be on snow, and will offer sessions for the beginner volunteer and parent coach to the most experienced high school coaches. Morning sessions will focus on technique and training and afternoon sessions will focus on how to run youth programs, games and other fun things to do on skis.     Participants are welcome to come all day or just to the morning or afternoon session depending on their interests. The morning session will begin at 9 a.m. and the afternoon session will begin at noon.
    The day will wrap up with a ski wax clinic at 3 p.m. MWSC will provide skis to participants who need them. Cost is $10 and will include a lunch. For more information about the clinic, go to www.mainewsc.org.
