Kaetlin Parent, a sophomore at St. Joseph’s College was recently crowned Miss Maine USA 2008. The competition took place in South Portland at the Sheraton Hotel on Nov. 24 and 25. Parent competed in an interview competition, bathing suit competition and evening gown competition. There was also an interview portion for the top five competitors.

Girls from all over the state competed for the prestigious title.

She will go on to compete in the Miss USA Pageant in March of 2008. The competition will be held in Palm Springs California.
She will be competing for the title of Miss USA.
