Houlton Rifle and Pistol
Club to meet
    The monthly meeting of the Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club (HRPC) will be held on Jan. 6, at the rifle and pistol club range, located adjacent to the Houlton International Airport. The meeting is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with shooting to follow. All members are encouraged to attend.

    The Houlton Rec Center has listed its open gym and game room hours for Christmas vacation as follows:
    Wednesday, Dec. 19, 3-5p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 20, 3-5p.m.; Friday, Dec. 21, 3-5p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 22, 1-4p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 23, 1-4p.m.; Monday, Dec. 24, Closed Merry Christmas; Tuesday, Dec. 25, Closed Merry Christmas; Wednesday, Dec. 26, 1-4 p.m.; Thursday, Dec. 27, 1-4p.m.; Friday, Dec. 28, 1-4p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 29, 1-4 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 30, 1-4 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 31, 1-4 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 2,  Closed Happy New Year.
    Walkers vacation hours will be changed as the gymnasium will be closed Dec. 24-26, as well Jan. 1. The gymnasium will reopen after the holidays 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 27-31. Regular walking hours will resume on Jan. 2.
    The Parent and Tots program will be closed on Dec. 25, Dec. 27 and Jan. 1. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, Jan. 3
