Tubing at Big Rock
The Department is sponsoring a field trip to Big Rock Mountain to go snow tubing on Wednesday, Dec. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. The bus will depart from the Community Center at 12:15 p.m. and return at approximately 4:45 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, which includes the tubing ticket and transportation. Registration forms will be handed out at school or you may pick one up at the Community Center prior to the day of the trip. Participants must be at least nine years of age or older, or be accompanied by an adult in order to attend. Please dress according to the weather.
Adventure at Gentile Hall
The Department is sponsoring a field trip to Gentile Hall at University of Maine at Presque Isle on Thursday, Dec. 27 from noon to 3 p.m.
Swim in the pool, climb the rock wall or play in the gymnasium for three hours of fun and exercise. The bus will depart from the Community Center at 11:30 a.m. and return at approximately 3:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person, which includes transportation and admission to the facility.
Registration forms will be handed out at school or you may pick one up at the Community Center prior to the day of the trip. Participants must be at least nine years of age to attend or be accompanied by an adult.
