Caribou – Davidina “Deena” Robbins, 55, died January 23, 2008, at her Caribou residence following a prolonged illness. She was born in Caribou April 13, 1952, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mable (Higgins) Kennedy. Deena was a 1970 graduate of Caribou High School, was a 1972 graduate of Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and attended Husson College. She was employed as the office manger at Percy’s Auto Sales in Presque Isle for over 15 years and prior to that she was employed at Norsworthy’s Auto Sales. She was a member of the Perkins Plourde Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Stockholm.
She is survived by her two daughters Stacey Robbins of E. Waterboro and Angela Chamberlain of Caribou. Her former spouse Alton Robbins of Caribou. Three sisters and two brothers-in-law Madgel and Robert Desjardins of St David Az., Diana King, and Paula and Kevin Giles of all of Caribou; five grandchildren: Lacie Anderson, Codie Robbins, Devin Doody and Kennedy and Dylan LeVasseur, one niece, five nephews, and several cousins.
Evening memorial services were held 6 p.m., Monday January 28, 2008, at the Presque Isle Wesleyan Church with Pastor Darren Bonnville, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Funeral arrangements were by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou.
