DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Presque Isle boys sped over Caribou, 62-12, and Foxcroft, 64-10 last Friday as the teams met at Foxcroft Academy.
In the 200-yard medley relay PI’s A team (Gerard Desjardins, Matt Harris, Mike Yu and Kyle Gilson) took first in 2:25.98. The Wildcats also swam to victory in the 400-yard freestyle with the A team (Desjardins, Stephen Goulet, Ethan York and Jacob Brawn) tapping the finish at 5:40.44 team members.
Individual results follow: 200-yard freestyle: 2, Gilson (PI) 2:40.81 and 3, York (PI) 3:16.72. 200-yard individual medley: 1, Cameron Winter (PI) 3:15.89. 50-yard freestyle: 1, Yu (PI) 28.12 and 3, Harris (PI) 30.11. 100-yard butterfly: 1, Winter (PI) 1:35.66. 100-yard freestyle: 2, Yu (PI) 1:04.79 and 3, Gilson (PI) 1:08.08. 100-yard breaststroke: 1, Harris (PI) 1:24.31 and 2, Brawn (PI) 1:26.15.
