Bossie, Paul E., 88, Presque Isle, in Presque Isle, March 5, 2008. Spring interment will be in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Cemetery in St. Agatha. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

 

    PRESQUE ISLE – Paul E. Bossie, 88, died Wednesday morning March 5, 2008, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born in Fort Kent on April 18, 1919, the son of Leo and Melonia (Bouchard) Bossie.         Paul worked as a carpenter at Loring AFB, the L.M. Cutchin Construction Co. and for Joe Hedrich, Sr. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
    Paul is survived by seven siblings,  Orenie and his wife Elcide of New Canada, ME;Camille and his wife Theresa;  and Edwina Daigle of Caribou, Ella and her husband Bob Dumond of Hancock; Regina and her husband Donald St. Jarre, and Bertha Bard of CT, and Lena Pelletier of Veazie. Also surviving Paul is his step-son George Derrah and his wife Beverly of Limestone; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Priscilla (Marquis) Bossie and an infant daughter, Gilda. Paul’s second wife, Elizabeth, also predeceased him along with two step-daughters, Patricia Daniels and Natalie Bahre. Also predeceasing him are his five brothers, Ronaldo, Leonard, Norman, Raymond, and Edgar and two sisters, Cecile Voisine and Juliette Bossie.
    A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Morency Celebrant. Relatives and friends called 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Spring interment will be in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Cemetery in St. Agatha.
