HOULTON — The Project Graduation Committee at Houlton High School will be putting on a murder mystery dinner next month at the local Elks Club in order to raise money for the graduating class of 2008.
MYSTERIOUS CAST — These Houlton High School seniors are busy preparing for their May 3 murder mystery dinner to benefit Project Graduation. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Houlton High School or by contacting Alane Rush at 532-6867. On the night of May 3, seven HHS seniors will be performing the dramatic wedding night mystery, while their classmates serve a three-course meal to the audience.
The plot line for the entertainment portion of the night is based around the marriage of a true odd-couple, a wealthy mama’s boy and his young hippie bride.
“I'm having a blast rehearsing for the dinner. We definitely have fun with it. It should be a good show for those who come,” explained Casey Faulkingham.
The senior actors and actresses involved in the mystery are very excited and anticipating a good turnout for the show. It has been three years since the last time HHS performed a murder mystery dinner, which may be one reason why there is such a buzz around the event.
“It’ll be nice to see how it all ends up, especially if the audience members really get into it,” explained senior actress Michaela Blow.
Tickets can be purchased at Houlton High School or by contacting Alane Rush at 532-6867. All profits will be put towards Project Graduation for the class of 2008.
