The Atoms team also hosted Presque Isle’s first hockey tournament in many years, bringing six teams from New Brunswick and southern Maine. During the PI tournament, players participated in a National Hockey League style skills competition that showcased the talents of all teams. The Atoms came out on top. The team worked on many skills throughout the year, and made leaps and bounds working together using their passing, skating and shooting abilities.
The Atoms were coached by Shane McDougall, Pierre Patenaude, Jean-Pierre Michaud and Carl Flynn.
