18th Walk for Life is 3rd Thursday in May

    The Pregnancy Care Center of Aroostook will hold their 18th annual Walk for Life May 15 at the Riverside Park in Presque Isle.  Registration is from 6-7 p.m., and the walk will begin at 7 p.m. During registration there will be games and face painting for children.   The youth band Peculiar will perform before and after the walk. Upon returning to the park, ice cream sundaes will be served. The focus this year is on ‘family,’ with participants and their families invited to join the agency as it raises funds to help other families in the community.

Ask your friends, relatives, neighbors or co-workers to sponsor you as you walk two miles.  Come to  Riverside Park with your favorite walking footwear, walk and have fun while knowing you are making a positive impact on families in our community. The walk will take place rain or shine.
