New members welcomed; officers elected by sorority

    Maine Epsilon Master Beta Sigma Phi held the April breakfast meeting at Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center. Wilma Cambridge was hostess and president Jane Crouss conducted the business meeting.     Correspondence from International indicated that Bonnie Cowett, Betsy Fitzherbert and Ellen Helstrom will be eligible for the Master’s Degree this fall.
    Gail Clukey was welcomed as a new member of our chapter. Previously she was a member in Old Town.
    New officers were elected for the coming year. They are: Judith Kenney, president; Pam Palm, vice president; Lucy Adams, recording secretary; Honey Higgens, treasurer; Ellen Helstrom, corresponding secretary.
    The next meeting will be May 15 at the home of Judy Kenney starting at 7 p.m. Virginia Packard will be co-hostess.
    Members attended the Founder’s Day Banquet on April 24 in Fort Fairfield.
