Caribou ATV Club Trailmaster, Richard Lagasse, has reported that member Greg Hanley and his father, with the assistance of County Electric Inc., have installed 11 telephone posts for the ramp at the end of Patten Street and the Fort Street Bridge. The first piece of steel frame was placed on the posts for the ramp landing. A pedestrian walkway, constructed by Marcel, Nancy and Derek Bossie has been completed and will be placed at a safe distance from the ATV ramp landing.     Lagasse also reported that the first of two Caribou Stream wharf bridges has been completed. Work on the second wharf bridge began on June 14.
Lagasse has placed No Trespassing signs at Lower Lyndon and Patten streets, as well as the area of Limestone Street and Route 89. The signs will be in place until safety and signage issues can be addressed. He also  reminds ATV riders that the Lagasse Connector Trail can’t be opened until these issues are resolved and work on the trail is completed.      Interested volunteers are encouraged to call Richard Lagasse at 227-3918 or be at the Caribou Parks & Recreation Department storage building, located by the Caribou Public Works Department, on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m.
