Leroy Johnston named Maine Veterans’ Home Resident of the Month for June

    The Maine Veteran’s Home in Caribou has announced Leroy (Max) Johnston, in photo at left, seated at right,  was recently named and honored as the facility’s Resident of the Month for June.
Johnston was presented a booklet telling of he and his family’s history along with a collage that will be on display at the Maine Veterans Home. Activity Coordinator, Shirley Dubay said, “It has been great working with Leroy and I feel privileged to have been able to share good times with him at the Maine Veterans Home. In photo, the Resident of the Month celebrated this special award afternoon sharing the collage presented to him with his brother and sister-in-law, Preston and Beverly, Johnston of Caribou.
