‘Evening at the Museum’ open house

    PATTEN — Patten Lumbermen’s Museum will host various speakers familiar with the history of the Katahdin region during the months of July and August. We encourage you to stop by anytime between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to enjoy the informational presentations and learn of our rich and remarkable heritage. There is no admission fee although donations will be accepted and appreciated.
    Those speaking are: July 17 — Book Signing with David Duplisea, Author of the recently released book “Millinocket”; July 24 — Understanding Patten’s Logging History with Forester Bud Blumenstock; July 31 — Patten’s Pictorial History 1900 to 2007; Aug. 7 — Patten: Past and Present with Historian’s Don Campbell and Bud Blumenstock; Aug.  14 — Aug. 21 — Carl Springhorn and Caleb Scribner, Artist and Muse, with Chris Huntington and Charlotte McGill; Aug. 28 — Marston Hartley Visits Patten 1939 with Chris Huntington and Charlotte McGill.
