In conjunction with the Bridgewater Sesquicentennial celebration, the Bridgewater Community Club will hold a fashion show featuring fashions from the past.
The fashion show, entitled “Fashions through the Years” will be held on Thursday, July 24, at 7 p.m. at the Bridgewater Free Baptist Church. Women’s and children’s fashions from the date of Bridgewater’s incorporation, 1858, to modern times will be shown, and the Club will hold a tea during the show’s intermission. Admission is $5 per person.
The Club has organized a large group of women and children’s vintage and antique clothing provided by individuals, collectors and by the Aroostook Historical and Art Museum in Houlton. During intermission the Club is planning a tea during which hot, herbal and iced teas and sweets will be served.
The Bridgewater Community Club was formed to promote friendship among women of all ages and to undertake projects that improve the community.
