ISLAND FALLS — The Island Falls Summerfest pageant deadline has been extended to Thursday, July 17. No applications will be accepted after Thursday. If you are interested in entering your child boy or girl age birth to 5 years old or MISS categories age 6 to 18, you must call 463-2263 to enter or show up on Thursday at the Southern Aroostook Community School at 6 p.m.
Practice dates will be Monday, July 21, Thursday, July 24 and the pageant will be held on Saturday, July 26 at the SACS at 3:30 p.m. Children’s admittance is $2, adults is $4. Last year winners will perform entertainment and a few other local talents will be there as well. For more information call 463-2263.
