The Patten Lumbermen’s Museum annual bean hole bean dinner will be held August 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The museum is located at 61 Shin Pond Road, Patten.
The annual fundraising dinner will include Dr. Lore Rogers authentic “bean hole bean” recipe … slow cooked overnight.
There will also be while you watch “reflector oven biscuits,” coleslaw, Maine’s own red hotdogs, boiled “Lumberjack” coffee and home baked desserts from the local ladies in the community.
David Duplisea, author of the new “Images of America-Millinocket,” and Randy Probert, author of “Quandry at Knowles Corner,” will be at the museum signing copies of their newest releases.
Join in on a day of music from the RDF Gang, guided museum tours, blacksmith and shingle splitting demonstrations, children’s scavenger hunt, craft fair along with lots of friends, food and fun.
