Hunter – Hummel

    Beth Hunter and J.D. Hummel, of Portage Lake, are pleased to announce their engagement.
    Beth is the daughter of Terry and Elaine Hunter, of Ashland, and J.D. is the son of Vickie Belanger, of Ashland, and Jeff Hummel, of Beachwood, N.J.      Beth is a graduate of Northern Maine Community College and the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  She is employed at Fraser Timber Limited, in Ashland. J.D. is a self-employed logging contractor for Irving Woodlands, in the Portage area. 
    An October 25, 2008, wedding is planned.
