Arndt’s Lodge promises a home away from home

    PRESQUE ISLE – Arndt’s Aroostook River Lodge and Campground is located at 95 Parkhurst Siding Road in Presque Isle, just down the road from the Presque Isle Country Club.     The campground consists of 55 RV sites and 20 tent sites as well as a small bunkhouse. At Arndt’s there is a pool, playground, store, game room, laundry facilities, canoe and kayak rentals and much more.
    “We offer many different services,” says owner Clare Arndt, “from camping to guided trips to beautiful indoor accommodations in our new log cabins.”
    Arndt’s Aroostook River Lodge and Campground has recently constructed two log homes that they rent to customers by the day, week or month.
    Many of Arndt’s camping clients are travelers visiting the area, but more and more are local people looking to get away without having to travel so far.
    “There are quite a few people from central Aroostook County that come for the weekend,” says Arndt. “We offer the ability to get away and relax, without having the time loss or extra costs associated with traveling farther.”
    “We see quite a few people renting our cabins for weekend getaways too,” Arndt said. “We’ve hosted birthday parties, weddings parties and family reunions as well.”
    Arndt’s is only minutes from downtown Presque Isle, making access to shopping and indoor activities, such as the movies, only a short drive away.
