PRESQUE ISLE – This year, Advantage Payroll Services in Presque Isle celebrates 25 years of serving Aroostook County businesses. Dedicated to serving small- to medium-sized businesses, Advantage provides timely, accurate, convenient, and guaranteed payroll processing and tax filing. With an office efficiency rate of 99 percent, every transaction is handled with the utmost integrity and personalized care. Thus their motto, “Precision You Can Count On.”     Backed by the strength of a larger corporation, the Presque Isle location offers a state-of-the-art technology and modern solutions for small business, as well as larger ones. But most important is the excellent customer service and local presence that sets the Advantage Payroll team apart from other payroll providers.
Ray Gauvin, owner and president of Advantage Payroll Services in Presque Isle, purchased the franchise in 1983, when he saw the need for smaller, local business owners to have their individual payroll needs met so they could take their time and expertise to run their businesses. Vice President of Operations and Associate Owner, Heidi Graham, directs a staff that has been with her for a combined 28 years. The staff consists of Kellie Chapman, customer service representative; Sherry Miller-Thibodeau, director of development; and Jay Trainer, account executive. Together they have over 85 years of experience in the payroll industry.
Gauvin, the Gauvin Group, and Advantage Payroll of Presque Isle have also gained the respect of the community by being a responsible, civic-minded business, contributing generously to many local activities and providing significant educational support to county students.
The staff and management of Advantage Payroll would like to express their appreciation for being allowed to serve so many excellent clients throughout the county over the past 25 years. According to Gauvin, “We know that our customers have made us who we are today. We’re grateful to have been able to partner with Aroostook County businesses for the past 25 years and we look forward to continuing to doing so for a long time in the future.”
