Power of prevention exercise
    This exercise class meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. There is no fee. Cary diabetic exercise
    This exercise program is Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The fee is $1 per person per day. Register with the instructor.
High impact aerobics
    High impact aerobics meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The fee is $3 per class. Register with the instructor.
Belly dancing

    Belly dance classes are offered on Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
    The fee is $10 per class or $25 for four weeks. Please register with the instructor.
Grade one and two soccer
    Soccer registrations are currently being accepted for grades one and two.
    The program will meet from 3 to 4:20 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hilltop School Sept 2. to Oct. 3. In the event of rain, children will meet at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
    Notes should be brought to the main office of Hilltop School prior to the first day of the program indicating your child will be participating in the program.
Soccer coaches meeting
    There will be a soccer coaches meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Caribou Recreation Center. The meeting is for grades three to six soccer coaches.
Grades three to six soccer
    There will be a soccer meeting for children registered for the grade three to six soccer on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
    Youths must pre-register for this program.
CRX
    Baxter State Park was the backdrop for this week’s CRX program, as participants enjoyed the wilderness in the shadow of Maine’s tallest peak.
    Participants had a chance to learn about Baxter sate Park and what lies within its boundaries.
    Four of nine hikers completed a 10-mile loop-ascending the Abol Trail to Baxter Peak and descending the steep rocks of the famous Hunt Trail.
    Participants who did not hike the mountain had a chance to bike, canoe, swim and hike to the big and little Niagara Falls just outside of Daicy Pond on the Appalachian Trail.
