Patten seniors hold meeting

    Patten Senior Citizens held its regular meeting at Meadowbrook Manor on Sept. 16 with eight members and one guest present.
    The blessing before the meal was given by Joyce Harvey and the Lord’s Prayer was recited in unison by the members. After the meal, the business meeting was opened by the flag salute, led by President Jackie Palmer.
    Plans were finalized for the Sept. 20 trip to the Penobscot Theatre. Cards were signed and sent to Annie Somers, Dale Steen and Noreen Shorey. Jokes were read by Jackie Palmer and Gini Garrett. Hostesses were Jean Tarr and Rubenia Botting.
    The Game will be played at the Oct. 6 meeting and hostesses will be Mary Lawler and Gloria Noyes.
